Macros Easy in Action.
Hi, I’m Kele. This is my story of Macros Easy in Action. A story of success and it can be yours as well. One year ago I decided it was time to change my life. I had never really thought about the food I was eating and even though I was very active I could not control my weight.
Before and After
I’d been going to the gym since I was in high school, weight training since I was 18, and CrossFit for almost 5 years. The “before” was the result.
Sound familiar? I was doing everything right, but getting the wrong result.
A Year of Macros
So here I am “after” one year of Macros. Who would have thunk. You really are what you eat!
What are MACROS?
What are “Macros”? MACROnutrientS. The food we eat. Protein, Carbs, Fat. Macros Easy explains why these food groups are not simply calories.
Food is not just calories
Different foods have different actions in the body. Macros Easy explains how Carbs became a problem food and why fats can be a better alternative. Why eating fat does not make you fat and why eating carbs in place of fats does not make you healthy.
I was Skeptical
But you are skeptical. So was I. We have all tried dieting. It is hard, and the results don’t last.
Macros Explained
Macros Easy explains why dieting doesn’t work and how to correct this. How to change or mix of Macros to achieve different health goals.
Macros are Easy
What makes Macros Easy? Because we don’t give up eating. We give up eating the wrong foods at the wrong time.
Time for Pasta
For example, would it be better to eat a plate of pasta before going to bed or two hours before running a marathon?
Good for Energy
Well it so happens that carbs are the body’s source of readily available energy, so the pasta would be great for running a marathon. But before bed? What would happen to all the energy in the pasta?
Education and Feedback
The easy part is to match our food to our needs. It is a process of education and positive feedback.
Family and Friends
Positive feedback is incredibly important when making change. I’m so lucky that my husband @thebeardedtony helped me, because honestly going for walks in -30 is probably the hardest part and I couldn’t have done any of it without a partner.
Nutrition

Macros Easy explains Macros and the Easy ways you can apply them to achieving your own health goals. Not simply for weight control, but to improve a wide range of health issues, such as sleep, appearance, endurance, mental clarity and hormone balance.
Research
Macros are the result of the research into how different foods affect health and how to achieve optimum health for the individual.
Baby Steps
The changes involved are Easy. Small, incremental changes. Baby Steps. Not to avoid food, but to change food.
Variety
And who wouldn’t benefit from variety in their diet? Variety is the spice of life and does wonders for food and health.

Pole Fitness
When not working as a Project Manager I am a Pole Fitness Instructor. Pole is a wonderful exercise for building flexibility and strength, especially upper body strength. This can help balance body shape, especially if you spend a lot of time sitting at a desk.
